The Regional Chief Development Officer for the Kentucky Region is a highly visible, externally facing role based in Louisville, KY. This position is critical for strengthening and growing the donor base and the development program to meet assigned financial goals. You will support the Regional Executive in driving a strong revenue-oriented culture based on market-driven targets.
In this role, you will lead a development team in planning, managing, and implementing fund development strategies for the region. You will also maintain your own portfolio of assigned major donors and prospects, personally making solicitations to cultivate donors with the greatest capacity. As a senior leader, you will direct the Regional Development team regarding strategic decisions and serve as the primary staff liaison for the Board's Philanthropy Committee, ensuring new Board members are supported in their fundraising responsibilities.
This is an in-office position requiring daily reporting to the regional HQ in Louisville. The role involves frequent travel within the region for face-to-face meetings with donors, staff, and other constituents, as well as occasional travel within the Division and to Washington, DC.
