Spectrum Center Schools and Programs is a growing, dynamic organization with a social mission to offer hope. As a division of ChanceLight Behavioral Health, Therapy, & Education, we are the nation's leading provider of alternative and special education programs for children and young adults. For over 50 years, in partnership with more than 235 school districts nationwide, we have helped change the direction of over 240,000 student lives.
We are a culture that welcomes innovation, encourages creative expression, and offers limitless potential for personal and professional satisfaction. At ChanceLight, we believe in providing more than just a job; we offer the opportunity to make meaningful impacts, the support needed to achieve success, and the tools essential to reaching personal and professional fulfillment. Our culture is defined by growth, empowerment, and collaboration, where every day is a chance to transform lives through education.
As a Regional Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), you will play a pivotal role in transforming the lives of students in Grades K-12 across multiple Spectrum School locations in the SF Bay Area (Antioch, Pittsburg, Concord, Oakland, San Pablo). You will serve as the primary advocate for quality assurance, ensuring our programs comply with applicable laws and regulations while reflecting best practices.
In this collaborative, goal-oriented environment, you will lead with expertise by guiding and mentoring your team through hands-on training and professional development. You will work under the direction of the Area/Regional VP, Operations, and onsite Program Directors to enhance academic, social, emotional, and behavioral outcomes. Your day will involve designing tailored clinical and educational interventions, modeling instructional best practices, and conducting regular quality checks at the student, staff, classroom, and site levels. You will be responsible for developing strategies to reduce the need for 1:1 staffing for students exhibiting aggressive or self-injurious behavior, while fostering an environment where students thrive and achieve lasting success.
If you thrive in a collaborative environment focused on meaningful outcomes and possess strong problem-solving skills, compassion, and a sense of humor, we should talk.
