Key Responsibilities
- check_circleDesign and deliver training on Functional Behavior Assessments and Behavior Intervention Plans
- check_circleImplement evidence-based behavioral and educational strategies to improve student outcomes
- check_circleProvide crisis management intervention for students exhibiting aggressive or self-injurious behavior
- check_circleConduct regular quality checks at student, staff, classroom, and site levels
- check_circleSupport on-site team development through training on behavioral assessment and data collection
- check_circleProvide guidance and supervision to staff pursuing BACB certification
- check_circleAssist in developing and implementing improvement plans for assigned campuses
- check_circleEnsure adherence to Department of Education regulations and internal standards
- check_circleMaintain accurate records of assessments, interventions, progress, and compliance activities
- check_circleModel and reinforce instructional best practices to promote student growth aligned with IEP goals
- check_circleCollaborate with education teams to collect and analyze student behavior data
- check_circleEngage in multi-disciplinary meetings to discuss behavioral needs and support strategies
Requirements
- verifiedMaster's degree or higher in applied behavior analysis, behavioral therapy, special education or related field
- verifiedBoard-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) credential (current or in process)
- verifiedValid CA state driver's license (current or ability to obtain)
- verifiedCrisis management training certification (ability to obtain)
- verifiedSpecial education instruction credential (preferred)
- verifiedExperience in behavioral support in special education or behavioral health settings
- verifiedKnowledge of ABA, PBIS, FBA, and BIPs
- verifiedExperience with students with learning disabilities, emotional behavioral disorders, autism, or related disabilities
- verifiedExperience with special education services, IEPs, and compliance
- verifiedProficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and database entry
Nice to Have
Licensed currently or in the process of obtaining an education specialist or special education instruction credential.
