About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Regional Administrative Manager for our Walnut Creek Office to lead our legal support operations. In this role, you will supervise a diverse group of legal support staff, including administrative managers, legal assistants, receptionists, and interns. Your primary purpose is to ensure all attorneys have the necessary assistance and a physical work environment suitable for the practice of law.

You will serve as a leader who is helpful, congenial, and approachable. Success in this position requires a team-oriented mindset where you take ownership of tasks, correct mistakes proactively, and maintain strict confidentiality. You will be the face of the office, ensuring that staff are responsive within 24 hours and that the office runs smoothly, safely, and efficiently.

Day in the Life

Your day will involve a dynamic mix of people management and operational oversight. You will monitor staffing ratios and workflow, manage timekeeping for direct reports, and conduct performance reviews. You will partner with business leaders to meet departmental needs and collaborate on training initiatives. Additionally, you will handle office logistics, from managing vendors and property managers to planning office events like holiday parties and staff meetings. You will also play a key role in recruiting, interviewing, and onboarding new talent, ensuring they are set up for success from day one.
