The Compliance Manager serves as a key member of the Legal Department's compliance team, providing subject matter expertise on national and international legal standards to ensure governance across CoStar's global brands and products. This individual contributor role offers significant autonomy and accountability, requiring a proactive self-starter who is a strategic and practical thinker.
In this position, you will play a vital role in the day-to-day execution of legal compliance programs. You will identify compliance risks, coordinate advice from outside counsel, implement controls, and manage the compliance program workflow. The role involves resolving challenging compliance problems and communicating clearly with business stakeholders. You will support various programs including policy governance, gifts and entertainment requests, sanctions screening, and business ethics training. The ideal candidate possesses a thirst for knowledge and growth, thriving within a supportive legal team environment.

Experience with compliance frameworks, controls, and best practices such as AICPA Trust Principles (SSAE 18 - SOC 2 and 3), ISO 27000 series, NIST 800 series, anti-corruption and bribery regulations, and other regulatory compliance frameworks. Direct experience working with GRC platforms like Osano, OneTrust, and Descartes. Experience with international growth and implementing local jurisdiction-based compliance programs. Strong interpersonal skills and experience working cross-functionally with lawyers, non-lawyers, software engineering teams, sales teams, and product teams. Self-starter with the ability to learn in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision. Project Management Professional certification.
