About Canacre

Canacre is a leader in Environment and Land services, guiding projects through their entire lifecycle. We emphasize continuous development and growth, investing deeply in industry knowledge and team expertise to set ourselves apart. Our mission is to provide technical leadership that fosters greater regulatory understanding and certainty, while building collaborative relationships with stakeholders to mitigate environmental, land, and right-of-way risks before they arise.

We act with honesty and integrity within a culture where trust, collaboration, and teamwork flourish. Our vision is to foster an environment that promotes inspired and empowered team members who make a tangible impact. We are committed to diversity, inclusivity, and the celebration of successes.

About the Role

The Real Estate and Land Management (RELM) Project Manager serves as the central hub for overseeing and coordinating land management and real estate activities across multiple projects. This role is critical for ensuring alignment between project scopes, schedules, and budgets while managing external contractor relationships. You will act as the primary liaison between internal stakeholders and external partners, driving regulatory compliance, risk mitigation, and strategic alignment with organizational goals.

In this position, you will lead the evaluation and acquisition of real estate property rights, managing the full spectrum of deliverables from scope definition to milestone completion. You will coordinate cross-functional efforts with project operations, outreach, permitting, legal, and engineering teams to ensure seamless collaboration. A key part of your day involves facilitating the work of external contractors, establishing clear expectations, and ensuring all deliverables meet both RELM and AVANGRID standards. You will also manage land-related budgets, prepare comprehensive reports, track key performance indicators, and continuously identify opportunities to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Hiring Process

Due to the high volume of applications we receive, we are unable to respond to every submission. However, if your experience is a suitable match for one of our upcoming projects, you will be contacted directly.

Equal Opportunity & Employment Standards

Canacre is an equal opportunity employer committed to maintaining a diverse workforce. We comply with all federal and state/provincial laws governing non-discrimination in employment practices. We uphold the highest standards of employment practices in every jurisdiction we operate in, ensuring all employees are fairly compensated in accordance with the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) and the Canada Labour Code.
