About the Role

The Mobile Community Manager serves as the operational heartbeat of Pratum's affordable housing portfolio, providing on-site management for one or more residential multifamily communities. This unique position is designed for a leader who thrives in a dynamic, travel-intensive environment, ensuring that our mission to provide high-quality, compliant affordable housing reaches residents across the nation.

While the primary focus of support is the Washington DC Metropolitan area (including Virginia and Maryland), this role requires overnight travel to any state within our portfolio to cover operational needs. You will be the face of Pratum Companies, driving sales, managing customer service efforts, and fostering a vibrant community culture through resident engagement and social initiatives. From overseeing staff development to ensuring strict compliance with Fair Housing and HUD regulations, you will play a critical role in maintaining the integrity and success of our properties.

Location & Travel Requirements

To succeed in this mobile capacity, candidates must reside within 30 minutes of a major airport in the mid-Atlantic region (e.g., DC, MD, VA) and possess reliable transportation. The role demands flexibility to work seven days a week, 52 weeks a year, including on-call duties, overtime, and after-hours resident events. Travel to owner gatherings and other properties is an integral part of the job, requiring the ability to adapt quickly to different locations and teams.

Our Commitment to Culture

Pratum Companies is dedicated to building a diverse and inclusive workforce. We are an Equal Opportunity Employer committed to providing a supportive environment where talent can grow. We believe in ongoing personal development and offer career path activities through our corporate office and external sources to help you advance your skills and career.

Application Process

If you are ready to lead with purpose and manage communities with excellence, we invite you to apply. Please ensure your application highlights your experience in Tax-Credit, HUD Project Based Section 8, and Market-Rate property management, as well as your familiarity with compliance and regulatory standards.
