Key Responsibilities

  • check_circleAchieve sales quotas by driving new patient starts and retention in infusion centers and hospitals
  • check_circleConduct customer engagements to deliver sales presentations and educate on neuromuscular conditions
  • check_circleEducate healthcare professionals on Takeda brands for Primary Immune Deficiency and CIDP
  • check_circleParticipate in community education events and conferences for healthcare professionals and patients
  • check_circleAnalyze local and regional business trends to build long and short-term business plans
  • check_circleCollaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure customer satisfaction and market pull-through
  • check_circleWork compliantly within a matrix environment while managing confidential patient information

Requirements

  • verifiedBachelor's degree (BS/BA)
  • verified3+ years of successful selling experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device; OR 2+ years at Takeda
  • verifiedReside within the territory or supported geography
  • verifiedAbility to drive and/or fly to accounts
  • verifiedUp to 25-50% overnight travel
  • verifiedPass mandatory product training with written and oral examinations

Nice to Have

5+ years of pharmaceutical sales experience, preferably in rare disease. Sales experience with pharmaceutical or biologic products requiring coordination with patient access and market access teams. Relevant clinical or industry experience. Consultative / needs-based selling skills. Experience working in a highly regulated marketplace. Adept at leveraging emerging technologies, digital tools, and openness to AI-enabled processes.
