As a Radiologic Technologist, your work involves much more than performing diagnostic exams; you also ensure a positive experience by making patients feel respected and secure. You will perform ionizing radiographic and fluoroscopic exams in a variety of environments according to physician's orders, utilizing knowledge and judgment regarding exposure factors, imaging techniques, and patient care.
Central to the success of this role is the ability to handle stressful situations in ways that promote positive outcomes. You will partner with patients of all ages—from neonates to geriatric—communicating effectively to ensure appropriate and effective care while maintaining a professional image of competency.
