Legacy Meridian Park Medical Center stands as the South Metro area's premier full-service medical facility. We blend the warm, friendly atmosphere of a community hospital with the advanced capabilities and specialized services of a larger medical center. Our team is dedicated to excellence in stroke care, chest pain management, minimally invasive and robotic surgery, cancer care, orthopedics, total joint surgery, as well as our dedicated birth and breast health centers.
Our mission is rooted in the belief that our legacy is good for our people, our patients, our communities, and our world. Above all, we are committed to doing the right thing. We foster an inclusive environment where everyone can grow and succeed, and we encourage passionate individuals to apply even if they do not meet every single qualification listed.
As a Radiologic Technologist at Legacy, your work extends far beyond performing diagnostic exams; it is about ensuring a positive, respectful, and secure experience for every patient. You will perform ionizing radiographic and fluoroscopic exams across various environments, guided by physician orders and driven by your knowledge of exposure factors, imaging techniques, and patient care.
Central to your success is the ability to navigate stressful situations with professional judgment to promote positive outcomes. You will be the bridge between technology and patient comfort, positioning patients accurately, operating complex equipment to ensure high-quality images with minimal repeats, and utilizing computer image processing to optimize results. Your role requires you to communicate effectively with patients and families, explaining procedures and addressing concerns while maintaining strict adherence to radiation safety standards and universal precautions.
Whether caring for neonates, pediatric, adolescent, adult, or geriatric patients, you will apply your anatomy and physiology knowledge to provide appropriate care. You will also play a key role in documentation, ensuring accurate patient identification, chart reviews, and image labeling, while maintaining quality control and reporting any equipment variances.
We offer a comprehensive total compensation package designed to support your life and career. This includes competitive pay with shift differentials for evening, night, and weekend hours, as well as relocation assistance for candidates moving from outside the area. We provide robust health benefits including medical, dental, and vision care, along with a generous Annual Paid Leave (APL) allotment that is front-loaded at hire.
Additional perks include a retirement plan with employer match, free parking at Meridian Park Medical Center, life insurance at no cost, a generous Employee Assistance Program (EAP), flexible spending accounts, and access to employee discounts with partners like Nike, Adidas, and LA Fitness.
