As a Radiography - X Ray Technologist at the UCHealth Anschutz Inpatient Pavilion in Aurora, you will provide top-of-scope practice in direct patient care. This role is designed for a professional who values a team approach to achieve exceptional outcomes. You will be the face of our imaging department, reviewing patient history, initiating radiographic images based on physician orders, and prioritizing patient education to ensure mutual understanding and cooperation.
In this fast-paced, innovative clinical environment, you will safely administer contrast media or associated imaging medications while closely monitoring patient conditions. Your expertise will be crucial in implementing techniques that yield clarity in images, ensuring quality control, and maintaining equipment functionality based on established best practices. You will also play a key role in precepting those new to imaging and/or UCHealth, modeling proficiency and welcoming new knowledge to contribute to secure safety and quality at the point of care.
This position is a full-time night shift role (72 hours per pay period) located at the UCHealth Anschutz Inpatient Pavilion. We offer 13-week assignments with extension options, and local traveler contract options are available for those residing within 75 miles. The role includes a competitive pay rate of $36.00 per hour plus a travel package/stipend.
