About the Role

You will join a dynamic team at the UCHealth Anschutz Inpatient Pavilion in Aurora, Colorado, serving as a Radiography - X Ray Technologist within the Resource Office. This position focuses on providing top-of-scope practice in direct patient care, delivering various imaging and radiologic procedures with a commitment to safety and quality.

In this fast-paced, innovative clinical environment, you will review patient history, initiate radiographic images based on physician orders, and prioritize procedural patient education to ensure mutual understanding. You will safely administer contrast media or associated imaging medications while monitoring patient conditions, responding and reporting changes as appropriate. Your role involves implementing techniques to yield clarity in images, performing quality control, and ensuring equipment functionality based on established best practices in Radiology.

As a valued member of a multidisciplinary team, you will model proficiency by precepting those new to imaging and/or UCHealth, welcoming new knowledge, and contributing to secure safety and quality at the point of care. This is a full-time, 72-hour per pay period (2 weeks) position working the night shift. Local traveler contract options are available for those residing within 75 miles, with 13-week assignments and extension options.
