About CHAOS Industries

CHAOS Industries is redefining modern defense with a multi-product portfolio designed to deliver domain dominance. Our technology, powered by proprietary Coherent Distributed Networks (CDN™), empowers warfighters, commercial air operators, and border protection teams to act faster, adapt rapidly, and stay ahead of evolving threats.

Founded in 2022 and backed by leading investors including 8VC, Accel, and Valor Equity Partners, we are headquartered in Los Angeles with global offices in Washington, D.C., San Francisco, San Diego, Seattle, and London. We are a rapidly growing team of 250 employees dedicated to solving complex challenges in high-performance RF and defense systems.

About the Role

As the Integration and Test team's lead RF engineer, you will own the RF-centric integration, debug, characterization, and validation for our radar hardware, subsystems, and test environments. This role is critical to ensuring that our RF chains and test setups produce trustworthy measurements, enabling rapid root-cause isolation across lab, production, chamber, and field environments.

You will serve as the technical authority for RF failures, diagnosing issues ranging from component defects to subtle environmental effects. Your work will bridge the gap between component-level measurements and system-level performance, ensuring that our radar systems meet rigorous detection range, sensitivity, and calibration accuracy standards. You will partner with systems, hardware, software, and firmware engineers to resolve failures that span multiple technical boundaries, while also defining the test procedures and acceptance criteria that our technicians and engineers rely on daily.

Why Join Us?

We offer a comprehensive benefits package including 100% paid medical, dental, and vision, a 401k with a 50% company match, and generous pre-IPO stock option grants. Our culture fosters innovation and work-life balance with perks such as free daily lunch, "No meeting Fridays," unlimited PTO, and a casual dress code. We are committed to building a diverse and inclusive team where every voice contributes to our mission.

Application Process

We are looking for candidates who are passionate about defense technology and RF engineering. If you are ready to make an impact, please submit your resume and a brief cover letter detailing your relevant experience with radar systems or phased arrays. We review applications on a rolling basis and look forward to learning about your background.

Equal Opportunity Employer

CHAOS Industries is an equal opportunity employer. We celebrate diversity and are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees. We consider qualified applicants regardless of race, color, religion, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or veteran status.
