Valkyrie Enterprises is seeking a Radio Frequency Engineer to join our team at Eglin Air Force Base. We are dedicated to the development and integration of advanced equipment and systems for Hardware in the Loop (HITL) laboratories. Our work supports critical mission areas including Flight Motion Simulators, Anechoic Chambers, Scene Generators, Data Links, and Radio Frequency Communications.
This position serves as a vital link between engineering development and operational testing. You will provide expertise in RF engineering, integration, test, verification, and analysis to support HITL lab development. The role involves more than just technical execution; you will act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on RF and Position, Navigation, and Timing (PNT) technologies, offering technical recommendations to both the customer and the team.
In this capacity, you will plan and conduct trade studies, analyze alternatives, and develop models to support integrated system performance analysis. You will be responsible for overseeing the development of new RF and PNT technologies, performing verification and validation on modeling and simulation (M&S) efforts, and translating complex system capabilities into actionable models. The role requires close collaboration with engineers and technical staff, mentoring team members, and providing technical consultation to customers.
Candidates must be eligible to obtain and maintain a Department of Defense (DoD) clearance, with an active DoD Secret clearance preferred. If the position requires travel to secure federal facilities or military bases, candidates must be able to obtain and maintain appropriate identification credentials, such as a REAL ID, by the start of the position.
