The world-class cellular RF subsystems developed in our labs enable Apple mobile devices to achieve uncompromised cellular network connectivity with minimal battery drain, delivering long hours of enjoyable customer experience.
Our Munich team plays a critical role in defining RF system configurations that ship in hundreds of millions of devices worldwide. We are a group of smart people and inspiring, innovative technologies working together to shape the future of cellular products.
As an RF Configuration Engineer in Munich, you will be a key member of our team, working on the development of future RF and cellular products. This role exists to expand our team's capability towards future Apple products by leveraging your passion for RF and excellence.
In this position, you will configure and integrate radio frequency systems, including pre-silicon validation, hardware-based testing, and debugging to deliver cellular solutions meeting product KPIs. You will interface with cross-functional teams—including RF software, system engineering, test engineering, and program management—to incorporate design solutions that improve yield, productivity, and quality. Your day will involve managing project activities across teams, locations, and time zones, validating RF configurations using in-house tools, and documenting design specifications with high transparency to partners. You will anticipate risks, develop mitigation strategies, and facilitate conflict resolution while delivering high-quality work on schedule across product development phases.
