For over four decades, DCI Donor Services has been a leader in working to end the transplant waiting list. Our unique approach to service allows for nationwide donation, transplantation, and distribution of organs and tissues while maintaining close ties to our local communities. We operate organ procurement and tissue recovery organizations, including Sierra Donor Services and Tennessee Donor Services, with operations in California, New Mexico, and Tennessee. We also maximize the gift of life through the DCI Donor Services Tissue Bank and Sierra Donor Services Eye Bank.
Our mission is to save lives through organ and tissue donation. Our performance is measured by the way we serve donor families and recipients; to be successful in this endeavor is our ultimate goal. We are committed to diversity, equity, and inclusion. With the help of our employee-led strategy team, we ensure that all communities feel welcome and safe, serving as a model for fairness, belonging, and forward thinking.
We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Quality/Electronic Medical Records Coordinator to join our team. This role is critical to our mission, tasked with the timely and systematic acquisition of donor medical records from hospitals and other facilities required to assess the suitability of recovered tissues for transplantation. Following record retrieval, you will ensure the accuracy and completeness of records obtained while maintaining strict confidentiality of donor information. You will act as a bridge between our internal teams and external entities, cultivating strong relationships with hospitals, EMS, pharmacies, primary care specialists, and coroner offices to facilitate the flow of essential medical data.
Upon successful submission of your application, you will receive a confirmation email. The next step in the selection process is to complete a video screening. Instructions to complete this screening will be contained in the confirmation email. Please note that you must complete the video screening within 5 days from the submission of your application to be considered for the position.
As part of our commitment to safety, new employees must have their first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine by their potential start date and be able to supply proof of vaccination.
