As a Health Unit Coordinator, you will serve as a vital link in our care delivery ecosystem, coordinating patient records, information supplies, equipment, and communication. This role is designed to support our multidisciplinary teams in delivering high-quality patient care across various settings, including the Radiology-ER, Mental Health, and Hospital at Home programs.
Your day will involve managing the flow of information between patients, families, visitors, and clinical staff. You will answer phones promptly, relay critical information, and maintain accurate electronic medical records from admission to discharge. In the ER, you may assist with transporting patients to radiology and ensuring room readiness. In Mental Health settings, you will support clinical staff in managing patient behaviors under supervision. For Hospital at Home, you will provide administrative and logistical support to enhance the delivery of care to patients in their own homes.

6 months previous unit clerk experience or the successful completion of a structured unit clerk curriculum. Experience in computerized data entry and/or keyboarding. Experience in a customer service role. For current Deaconess incumbent(s) only at the time of acquisition (10/1/2018): High School diploma or equivalent. For INTEGRIS Mental Health: Ability to operate an INTEGRIS-owned or personal vehicle with a current Oklahoma State Drivers License and an acceptable driving record.
