Key Responsibilities
- check_circleProvide daily quality support to CNC operations for evaluation and troubleshooting of nonconforming conditions
- check_circleManage machining-related MRB material to ensure organization, visibility, and timely disposition
- check_circleSupport process and layered audits to promote adherence to quality requirements
- check_circleCommunicate quality concerns with suppliers and support containment activities when needed
- check_circleMaintain accurate quality records, logs, and reports using ERP systems and Microsoft Office tools
- check_circleProvide back-up quality support including occasional hands-on rework or repair
- check_circleCollaborate with cross-functional teams to support root cause analysis and process improvement for machining defects
- check_circleMaintain CNC scrap tracking and participate in reviews of significant scrap events and corrective actions
- check_circleMaintain the plant calibration program to ensure measurement equipment accuracy and audit readiness
- check_circleSupport completion of First Article Inspections (FAI) using AS9102 Forms
Requirements
- verifiedMinimum 5 years in manufacturing (machining preferred)
- verified2+ years in quality
- verifiedAbility to read engineering drawings and interpret basic GD&T
- verifiedProficiency with metrology hand tools, gauges, and measurement devices
- verifiedExperience with gage control / calibration programs
- verifiedFamiliarity with nonconforming material control and disposition
- verifiedBasic understanding of machining processes and common defect modes
- verifiedBasic computer skills for administrative and quality system tasks
- verifiedLean exposure (preferred)
