About the Role
This position serves as a vital link in our product manufacturing planning ecosystem, ensuring that production schedules, material lists, and operational plans align seamlessly with business needs. Working under general supervision, the role focuses on balancing customer demand with operational capabilities to drive efficiency across the supply chain.
The day-to-day rhythm involves developing and communicating build schedules while accounting for supply chain availability, forecasts, and actual demand. You will act as a central coordinator, calculating lead times for customer-facing teams and recommending schedule adjustments when material or labor shortages arise. A key part of the mission is cross-functional collaboration with marketing, sales, operations, and logistics to accommodate order changes, prioritize urgent requests, and ensure the efficient distribution of inventory.
Beyond daily planning, this role requires analyzing product demand trends to adjust production plans proactively. You will compile reports on work progress and inventory levels for management, prepare work orders to guarantee material availability, and help facilitate prototype and qualification builds by engaging with engineering and purchasing. While the role does not carry formal supervisory responsibilities, it offers the opportunity to provide coaching and mentoring to new planners and support functions.

Requirements
