We are seeking a Principal Financial Analyst to support both Ascend-owned and Guest-owned units within our Pensacola manufacturing site. This role is designed for a self-motivated professional who thrives in a challenging environment and enjoys exercising initiative to proactively find solutions.
In this position, you will play a critical role in operating decisions by partnering closely with the area operations team. Your day-to-day will involve providing financial analysis, cost modeling, and project review support while ensuring the accuracy and integrity of the group's production and usage records. You will act as a highly engaged business partner across the Utilities, Maintenance, and Services organizations, communicating complex concepts in a concise way to support business decisions at both micro and macro levels.
Success in this role means becoming a Subject Matter Expert on various financial and business areas, developing an understanding of plant spending plans, and actively supporting the development of standard work and process documentation. You will also have the opportunity to achieve Greenbelt certification by completing data-driven improvement projects that drive continuous improvement within the department.
