About the Role
Our award-winning client is seeking a Quality Manager to join their team. This role serves as a pivotal force in assessing, overseeing, and driving the implementation of the Quality Management System (QMS) and continuous improvement initiatives across all facets of the organization. The position operates at the intersection of product and manufacturing, requiring substantial engagement with internal and external stakeholders to ensure operational excellence.
In this capacity, you will lead the standardization of processes for efficiency within Quality Inspection and Test Procedures. You will be responsible for managing the development, maintenance, and certification of the QMS according to ISO 9001 standards, including the administration of documentation for all departments. The role demands a proactive approach to identifying trends through KPIs, leading 8D Corrective Action Report activities, and overseeing the reporting of non-conformances.
Beyond technical oversight, this position emphasizes heightened communication and collaboration. You will mentor team members, develop process improvement strategies, and collaborate with stakeholders to enhance productivity in quality, cost, performance, and maintenance. The role also involves managing vendor relationships, overseeing ISO and quality training programs, and ensuring compliance with company and regulatory standards, including UL and CSA requirements.

Key Responsibilities
- check_circleManage the development, maintenance, and certification of the Quality Management System according to ISO 9001 standards

- check_circleEnsure timely disposition and issuance of Corrective Action Requests for Quality rejects and the RMA process

- check_circleOversee ISO and quality training programs for new and existing employees
- check_circlePerform Risk Assessments, PFMEA, Six Sigma, 5S, and Kaizen initiatives

Requirements
- verifiedBachelor's degree or diploma in a relevant field
- verified3+ years of experience with Infor Syteline ERP systems (QCS Modules)
- verifiedAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Access, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint)
- verifiedPrevious management or supervisory experience
- verifiedUnderstanding of Mechanical and Electrical Manufacturing processes
Nice to Have
Experience with Six Sigma, 5S, Kaizen, PFMEA, Risk Assessments, FOD Prevention, IPC Standards, and knowledge of UL and CSA regulatory requirements.
