About the Role

The Quality Engineer will be a member of the process engineering team based in Mountain Pass, California. This role is primarily responsible for driving process quality, improving product consistency, and supporting plant operations through data-driven quality engineering practices. The successful candidate will be highly organized and detail-oriented, serving as a critical link between plant operations, customer requirements, and certification standards. You will work in a dynamic environment where your work directly impacts the production of essential materials for the future of energy and technology.

Working Environment

Our facility sits at an elevation of 4,700 feet. Employees may be subject to extreme weather conditions when working in an outdoor setting, including heat, cold, and wind. Work takes place in an open pit mine or manufacturing/chemical plant setting, which may include exposure to moving mechanical parts, toxic chemicals, risk of electrical shock, explosives, fumes, or airborne particles. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required when performing work in these environments, which may include hard hats, hearing protection, safety glasses, respirators, and steel-toe boots. Employees must be able to work in PPE level C and pass a full-face respiratory fit test.
