As a Quality Engineer II in Aerospace Manufacturing, you will be the driving force behind our quality initiatives. This role exists to ensure the integrity of our complex titanium components and castings through effective communication both internally and externally. You will serve as the internal quality representative for both internal stakeholders and external customers, managing multiple accounts including OEMs and sub-tier suppliers.
In this position, you will work independently to maintain configuration control documentation, review blueprints and specifications, and collaborate with Engineering to submit waivers, concessions, and First Article Inspection Reports (FAIRs). You will be a subject matter expert on customer-specific requirements, participating in the investigation and disposition of customer complaints and returns. Your day-to-day involves reviewing purchase orders, communicating corrective actions, and driving continual improvement projects. You may also be called upon to train and coach team members and serve as a backup Quality Engineer for additional customers.
