As a Quality Engineer II in Aerospace Manufacturing, you will be the driving force behind our quality initiatives, responsible for effective communication both internally and externally. You will work independently to manage multiple customer accounts, including OEMs and sub-tier suppliers, serving as a subject matter expert on customer-specific requirements.
Your day-to-day involves partnering with Engineering to submit waivers, concessions, and First Article Inspection Reports (FAIRs). You will act as the internal quality representative for both internal and external customers, participating in the investigation and disposition of customer complaints and returns. Additionally, you will maintain configuration control documentation, review purchase orders, and drive continual improvement projects. This role requires you to be a trained Internal Auditor, participating in internal, external, special process, and customer audits to ensure compliance and excellence.
