About BLUvera

BLUvera is Mortenson's vertically integrated manufacturing and fabrication affiliate. We utilize advanced design, engineering, 3D modeling, and manufacturing to deliver a safer, faster, and more predictable experience to the built environment. By leveraging Design for Manufacturing and Assembly (DfMA) principles, BLUvera transforms digital models into precision-specified building components. Our mission is to turn off-site construction products into reality, creating industry disruption that enables customers to realize significant schedule and cost savings.

About the Role

As a Quality Engineer at BLUvera, you will oversee quality control processes for specific project scopes, acting as a technical resource and guide for project team staff. You will partner with senior quality managers to implement the Quality Management Plan from notice to proceed through final acceptance, ensuring strict compliance with contract documents.

In this role, you will lead corrective and preventive actions, manage Non-Conformance Notices (NCN), and coordinate third-party peer design reviews and testing agencies. You will serve as the primary point of contact for third-party electrical testing companies, NTA/ICC, and power solutions, ensuring all test reports and inspections are accurately tracked and expedited. Your day-to-day involves interpreting CAD drawings to verify skid frames meet dimensional requirements, conducting water testing, and maintaining QC manuals.

Location Note: This role will start at our Forney facility and transition to a project facility in the Fort Worth area.
