About BLUvera

BLUvera is Mortenson's vertically integrated manufacturing and fabrication affiliate. We utilize advanced design, engineering, 3D modeling, and manufacturing to deliver a safer, faster, and more predictable experience to the built environment. By leveraging Design for Manufacturing and Assembly (DfMA) principles, BLUvera transforms digital models into precision-specified building components. Our mission is to turn the industry on its head, creating disruption by enabling customers to realize significant schedule and cost savings through industrialized off-site construction processes.

About the Role

As a Quality Engineer at BLUvera, you will oversee quality control processes for specific project scopes, serving as a technical resource and guide for project team staff. You will implement the Quality Management Plan from notice to proceed through final acceptance, ensuring compliance with contract documents and leading root cause analysis to define corrective and preventive actions when defects occur.

This role is dynamic and site-specific: it will begin at our Forney facility before transitioning to a project facility in the Fort Worth area. You will collaborate closely with senior quality managers, Manufacturing Engineering, and third-party testing agencies to manage Non-Conformance Notices, Request for Information processes, and electrical test reports. Your day-to-day involves interpreting CAD drawings, conducting water testing, tracking quality KPIs, and maintaining QC manuals to ensure design documents and project plans meet customer requirements.

Hiring Process & Application

To apply, please submit your resume through our careers portal. Our job postings are typically open for a minimum of 5 days and an average of 44 days. Please note that we do not accept unsolicited agency emails, calls, or solicitations without a valid agreement.

Important Eligibility Note: This position requires candidates to be currently legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B, O-1, TN, CPT, OPT). Mortenson is unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment visa at this time.

Equal Opportunity & Culture

Mortenson is committed to providing equal employment opportunities to all individuals, regardless of race, religion, gender, national origin, age, veteran status, disability, marital status, or any other legally protected category. We believe your uniqueness brings new and creative perspectives to the team. Our culture promotes a respectful environment, healthy work/life balance, and strong teamwork, fostering cross-cultural relationships and resolving conflicts appropriately.
