The Quality Engineer serves as the internal quality representative for both internal and external customers, driving quality forward through effective communication. This role is designed for a self-directed professional who thrives in a high-paced setting, working independently while collaborating across Engineering, Operations, and Quality functions. You will manage multiple customer accounts, including OEMs and sub-tiers, acting as a subject matter expert on customer-specific requirements. Your day-to-day involves maintaining configuration control, reviewing blueprints and specifications, and supporting root cause analysis for customer complaints. You will also lead continual improvement projects, participate in audits, and ensure certification compliance for customer source inspections.
