Consolidated Precision Products (CPP) is an industry-leading manufacturer of highly-engineered components and sub-assemblies, supplying the commercial aerospace, military, and industrial markets with small-to-large "function critical" products. As a world-class supplier of titanium components and castings, we provide a "total solution" source, taking customers from concept to finished product with one of the broadest and most diverse product offerings in the industry.
We are poised for substantial growth with multiple facilities in Albany, OR, and offer a dynamic environment where employees can enjoy opportunities for advancement. Whether you are passionate about building the future of aerospace or refining the precision of manufacturing, CPP is the place to be.
As a Quality Engineer, you will be the driving force behind our quality initiatives, responsible for effective communication both internally and externally. This role exists to ensure that every component leaving our facilities meets the rigorous standards of our OEM and sub-tier customers.
In this position, you will work independently while collaborating closely with Engineering, Operations, and Quality teams. Your day-to-day involves managing multiple customer accounts, reviewing blueprints and specifications, and acting as a subject matter expert on customer-specific requirements. You will partner with Engineering to submit waivers, concessions, and First Article Inspection Reports (FAIRs), while actively supporting root cause analysis for customer complaints and returns.
Beyond technical execution, you will serve as the internal quality representative, building strong working relationships across functions including production personnel. You will drive continual improvement projects, proactively identifying opportunities to enhance our processes. This role requires a hands-on, collaborative approach in a high-paced environment where you will also participate in internal, external, and special process audits.
