About the Role
The Quality Control/Waste Manager is based in Fairbanks, AK, and plays a critical role in overseeing the organization's production standards and environmental waste processes. This position requires a blend of on-the-job activity and office-based management, ensuring that safety and compliance protocols are maintained across diverse work environments.
The role involves navigating varying physical settings, from active job sites to office spaces. Employees must maintain constant situational awareness and mental alertness while managing conditions that include weather transitions, noise, dust, odors, and potential exposure to hazardous substances. The position may require supervisory responsibilities and, during peak summer seasons, could demand a flexible schedule including six-day weeks with 12-hour days.
