At Choctaw Defense Manufacturing, we uphold a culture of operational excellence where product integrity is paramount. Our Quality Assurance team plays a pivotal role in safeguarding the standards of our defense manufacturing operations, ensuring that every component meets stringent specifications before reaching the customer. We foster a collaborative environment where cross-functional teamwork drives continuous improvement and adherence to rigorous quality protocols.
The Quality Assurance Technician is the guardian of our quality standards, serving as a critical link between raw materials and finished products. In this role, you will employ precision instruments to validate dimensional accuracy and functionality across assemblies, subassemblies, and individual parts. Your work ensures that every unit aligns with exacting project standards, from visual inspections to complex functional tests.
You will be deeply embedded in the manufacturing process, conducting routine inspections and in-process audits to detect deviations early. Beyond inspection, you will collaborate with production, engineering, and supply chain teams to resolve quality issues, participate in root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions. This position requires a keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining accurate records and calibrating testing equipment to ensure reliability.
Candidates selected for this role must hold a Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) certification. The selection process focuses on verifying technical proficiency with measurement tools, the ability to interpret technical drawings, and a demonstrated history of working in quality assurance within a manufacturing environment.
