As a Supplier Quality Engineer, you will serve as the driving force behind the organization's Supplier Quality Program. Your mission is to elevate supply chain performance by ensuring the adequacy of supplier quality programs and inspection methods. You will act as a critical bridge between internal technical groups, procurement, and external suppliers, participating in key processes such as Material Review Boards, supplier audits, and the issuance of corrective action requests.
In this role, you will not only monitor performance but also define specifications and collaborate with the sourcing team to select and manage the supplier base. You will be responsible for resolving complex quality issues using Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) tools, benchmarking world-class suppliers, and developing the policies and procedures that govern supplier quality assurance.
