About the Role
As a Quality Assurance Technician, you will engage your passion for food safety to provide front-line support to manufacturing. Located on-site at our Rome, GA plant, you will act as the go-to resource for ensuring the quality and food safety of our core products, including iconic brands like Pringles, Cheez-It, Pop-Tarts, and MorningStar Farms.
You will join a highly engaged team that supports an environment of learning and growth. This role offers exciting opportunities to work on stretch projects, lead continuous improvement initiatives, and collaborate with leadership. You will be responsible for supporting operations to ensure alignment with all policies and practices in the Kellanova Food Safety Plan.
A Day in the Life
This is a night shift position working 5:00 PM to 5:00 AM, following a schedule of 4 days one week and 3 days the following week, with every other weekend off. Flexibility with overtime as needed is required. Your day will involve providing on-shift guidance for all aspects of quality and food safety, validating Certificates of Analyses for incoming raw materials, and responding to food safety events. You will conduct plant food safety and security audits, perform daily product evaluations, and lead employee training on HACCP, GMPs, and SOPs. Additionally, you will support plant projects, manage product holds, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
