About the Role

This opportunity invites a fellowship-trained Pulmonary Critical Care Physician to join a growing team in Oconee, SC. The role focuses on a consult-only inpatient practice, providing care within a 169+ bed tertiary/acute care hospital featuring approximately 12 ICU beds and 10 step-down beds. The position includes mandatory ICU consults and 24/7 e-ICU remote coverage, allowing physicians to work collaboratively alongside interns, residents, and Advanced Practitioners.

The practice serves a growing office with referrals from a three-state area, including South Carolina, Georgia, and North Carolina. Physicians will utilize the Epic EMR system to deliver high-quality care in a supportive environment.

Located just outside of Greenville, Oconee County is an outdoorsman's paradise known for its whitewater rivers, waterfalls, mountain lakes, and hiking trails. The Mountain Lakes Region features three large public lakes: Hartwell, Jocassee, and Keowee. Seneca is conveniently situated on the interstate corridor between Atlanta and Charlotte and is home to Clemson University, the 2018 College Football National Champions. The location offers a unique lifestyle where a relaxing lake house is just a 5-minute drive from the hospital or office, with Clemson University a 10-minute drive away.
