The Production Planning Coordinator serves as a vital operational hub within the plant, reporting directly to the Plant Manager. This role is designed to ensure the seamless flow of production data, inventory accuracy, and administrative support. You will act as the primary liaison between operations, HR, and leadership, bridging the gap between shop floor activities and management decision-making.
In this position, you will manage the daily rhythm of the facility by creating and distributing production orders via SAP and shop floor systems. Your day involves coordinating inbound truck appointments for raw material receiving, tracking yield and inventory controls, and managing sales volume schedules. Beyond production planning, you will provide comprehensive support to the Plant Manager, including maintaining plant logs, preparing reports, and assisting with scheduling and meetings.
The role also encompasses purchasing and PO management, where you will create requisitions, track orders with vendors, and ensure accurate documentation. Additionally, you will play a key part in HR support by coordinating onboarding, scheduling interviews, and managing employee documentation. As a guardian of confidential information, you will adhere strictly to company ethics, data protection policies, and safety regulations such as HACCP.
To be considered for this position, a complete resume must be uploaded with your application. We require a detailed list of all employment for the past five years, including full-time, part-time, temporary, contract, and seasonal roles. Completed start and end dates (month/day/year) are mandatory for every entry. Applications with incomplete, missing, or inaccurate work history will not be considered.
This is an on-site position located at the plant. The schedule runs Monday through Friday, with occasional Saturdays required based on plant needs, projects, or engagement activities. Flexibility to support business needs as they arise is essential.
We are an Equal Opportunity Employer (EOE) and value diversity in our workforce. We consider qualified applicants regardless of veteran status or disability status.
