About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Process/Project Engineer to join our Systems Group in Rochester, NY. In this role, you will be the technical backbone of our project execution, bridging the gap between conceptual design and physical reality.
Your day will involve developing the chemical process system design and engineering the necessary equipment, instrumentation, and piping. You will collaborate closely with our CAD Design Group to create detailed layouts and drawings, ensuring ergonomic efficiency and operational clarity. A significant portion of your time will be dedicated to project engineering, where you will specify and procure system components, manage vendor relationships, and oversee the construction of modular process systems.
The role extends beyond the office. You will travel to local facilities of equipment suppliers and module fabricators to monitor construction and inspect work. Finally, you will travel to client sites to provide startup and commissioning support, ensuring the systems perform exactly as designed once installed.
