As a Project Manager in Electronic Security Systems (ESS), you will serve as the primary interface between our clients and the internal team, driving projects from initiation through closing. Your role is defined by a focus on written and verbal communication, ensuring that scope, schedule, cost, quality, and client satisfaction are maintained throughout the project lifecycle. While you will have direct control over all project activities, your success depends on effectively coordinating and directing a wide range of internal and external personnel.
You will act as the responsible owner for assigned client site projects, overseeing budgets, scopes, and the timely delivery of systems integration work. The majority of your time will be dedicated to managing projects and communicating with stakeholders to ensure high customer satisfaction. You will be held accountable for following established processes and actively contributing to their improvement.
Your daily activities will center on project communications, scheduling, and task management for technicians. You will coordinate all activities to ensure projects are completed on time and on budget, engaging stakeholders and delegating responsibilities clearly. This includes running client and internal project meetings, facilitating design reviews, and coordinating system programming and final checkouts.
A significant portion of your role involves field verification of prospective work sites and documenting any issues with potential solutions. You will coordinate all drawings and documentation between internal and external stakeholders, ensuring proper documentation in the field. Additionally, you will provide punch-lists of remaining tasks after substantial completion and coordinate the training and turnover of projects to the client, service department, and sales teams.
