About the Role
The Project Manager for Early Phase (EP) serves as the strategic bridge between Parexel and our sponsors, leading cross-functional teams to deliver tailored clinical research solutions. This position is designed for a professional who combines deep clinical research experience with agile project management skills to drive operational excellence. You will be accountable for the end-to-end execution of EP clinical trials, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and in strict compliance with ICH, GCP, and all applicable regulations.
Beyond execution, you will manage the financial health of your projects, overseeing revenue recognition, milestone payments, and pass-through invoices. This role demands the flexibility to make informed, independent decisions in ambiguous situations while maintaining the highest standards of quality and compliance.
Location & Work Model
This is a home-based role with a strong preference for candidates located in California, Colorado, or Texas. You will lead virtual teams across various locations and cultures, requiring strong leadership and communication skills to foster collaboration and achieve results.

- check_circleManage financial aspects including revenue recognition, milestone payments, and invoices
- check_circleIdentify project risks and implement contingency plans throughout the study life cycle
- check_circleOversee administrative closeout procedures and lead end-of-study meetings to document lessons learned
- check_circleContribute to SOP development and provide oversight and training to Associate PMs
- check_circleManage sponsor relationships and serve as the central point of contact for functional teams
- check_circleOversee study start-up activities, site selection, and IRB/EC approval processes
Requirements
- verifiedBachelor's degree in a science-related field or equivalent work experience
