The Los Angeles Community College District (LACCD) Project Management Office (PMO) serves as the central hub for overseeing the district's capital improvement programs. This position acts as a vital support pillar for the PMO Program Manager and Risk Analyst, focusing on the financial and administrative integrity of complex construction projects. You will be the gatekeeper for task order requests, change orders, and amendments, ensuring that every financial transaction aligns with available budgets and accurate cost coding.
In this role, you will navigate a dynamic environment where precision is paramount. Your day will involve organizing critical project documentation—from meeting minutes to submittals—and performing deep data mining to identify early warning signs of cost overruns or schedule delays that could escalate into claims. You will serve as a bridge between technical discipline leads and the PMO, translating complex project conflicts into clear, concise reports that inform strategic decision-making. Whether compiling documentation for expert analyses or assisting with interface support for financial data, your work directly contributes to the resolution of risk, dispute, and litigation functions.
