The Project Coordinator plays a vital support role within the PMO Program Manager and Risk Analyst team, focusing on the cost, schedule, and contract-related controls for large capital campus construction programs. This position is designed to mitigate risk, support claims management, and monitor performance across multiple sites. The role serves as a critical interface between technical discipline leads, cost analysts, and contractor teams, ensuring comprehensive cost and schedule visibility.
Working in a matrixed program management structure, you will manage competing priorities across multiple campuses and projects concurrently. Success in this role requires the ability to interact effectively with senior stakeholders, technical leads, and consulting partners while maintaining poise and diplomacy when handling sensitive or confidential information. Occasional travel to off-site project locations is required for reviews, meetings, and coordination.
We are looking for a proactive, detail-oriented professional with a passion for project management to contribute to the successful execution of a diverse portfolio of projects that shape the future of our organization. As part of our team, you will help ensure the implementation of district policies and plans consistent with BuildLACCD guidelines, supporting the risk, dispute, and litigation functions of the program.
