The State of Michigan is seeking a Programmer Analyst 4 to join a team utilizing hybrid agile/waterfall project management methodologies. This role is designed for a professional with deep expertise in Angular, JavaScript, Java, Spring, and SQL Server, who can contribute to complex database configurations and backlog management within Azure DevOps.
This is a non-negotiable hybrid work schedule. Candidates must be local to the Lansing, Michigan area at the time of submission. The required onsite days are Mondays and Tuesdays, while Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays are eligible for remote work. There is no remote-only option available for this position.
The initial assignment is a one-year contract with the possibility of extension based on performance and business needs. The resource must meet all requirements from the beginning of the engagement.
Selected candidates will participate in a 1-hour virtual interview via MS Teams, with video required. Candidates should join from a laptop and be prepared to share their screen if requested. A screenshot photo of the candidate will be required, and a vendor representative must be present at the beginning of the virtual interview to validate the candidate.
Vendor submissions must include a Cover Sheet, a valid Right to Represent with the hybrid work schedule acknowledged and confirmed by the candidate, and the candidate's resume containing only their full legal first and last names. Resumes should be kept to 4-5 pages; failure to meet this criteria may result in rejection. Vendor submissions close on June 8th at 10 AM ET; late submissions will not be accepted. If a sub-vendor is utilized, it must be only one level deep.
