The Programmer Analyst 4 serves as a critical resource for the ongoing maintenance and support of complex Java applications, while driving the development of new enhancements within the department. This role is integral to establishing automated processes that streamline business operations, ensure data integrity, and maintain compliance with SEM/SUITE standards. The absence of this position would necessitate manual documentation and screen planning, creating significant risks for data errors and the incorrect processing of patient information.
You will work within a hybrid agile/waterfall project management environment, executing the full software development life cycle (SDLC). From gathering requirements and writing technical specifications to designing prototypes and building robust unit test frameworks, you will bridge the gap between complex business needs and technical execution. The role demands a high level of customer service and the ability to build strategic relationships through teamwork and integrity.
This is a hybrid position based in Lansing, Michigan. The work schedule is non-negotiable: candidates must be local to the Lansing area (within 90 miles) and are required to be onsite on Mondays and Tuesdays. Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays are eligible for remote work. There is no option for a fully remote role.
Interviews are scheduled for the week of April 27th and will be conducted via a 1-hour virtual session on MS Teams. Candidates must join from a laptop with video enabled and be prepared to share their screen if requested. A screenshot photo of the candidate is required for all interviews, and a vendor representative will be present at the beginning of the session to validate the candidate's identity.
