The Remediation Information Data Exchange (RIDE) is a critical application serving the Remediation and Redevelopment Division (RRD). It facilitates the electronic exchange of data and information regarding contaminated properties regulated under Michigan's Natural Resources and Environmental Protection Act. Currently, the system enables the regulated community to submit documents electronically for Part 213 (Leaking Underground Storage Tanks) programs, eliminating the need for physical mail. Future releases will expand these capabilities to include Part 201 (Environmental Remediation) documents such as Baseline Environmental Assessments.
Beyond document submission, RIDE hosts the Inventory of Facilities (IOF), a comprehensive resource providing a transparent accounting of work conducted by RRD and offering the public access to information about regulated facilities. For consultants and contractors, the platform also serves as the portal for submitting invoices and documentation for state-funded projects.
We are seeking a .NET Full Stack Developer to support the evolution of this mission-critical system. In this role, you will work within a team dedicated to ensuring the reliability, accessibility, and efficiency of environmental data management for the state of Michigan. The position offers the opportunity to build responsive web solutions that directly impact environmental remediation efforts and public transparency.
