At Yellowstone Boys & Girls Ranch, our Program Therapists are an integral part of the interdisciplinary care team dedicated to supporting youth experiencing emotional, behavioral, and psychiatric challenges. Our mission is grounded in core values of Faith, Integrity, Relationship, and Stewardship, ensuring that every intervention is delivered with trust, ethical rigor, and a commitment to the needs of others.
This position provides evidence-based interventions designed to promote the mental health and well-being of the youth on your caseload. You will serve as a vital link in the care continuum, conducting comprehensive assessments and developing tailored treatment plans based on varying diagnoses. The role requires a unique blend of clinical expertise and operational awareness, as you will work to maintain the financial viability of the program while delivering high-quality care.
Your day-to-day impact extends across multiple settings, including schools, communities, and homes. You will engage in individual, group, and family therapy, as well as mental health clinical assessments, adapting your approach to meet the needs of youth and their families both in-person and via telehealth. A significant portion of your time will be spent collaborating with a diverse network of stakeholders, including treatment team members, schools, and community agencies. You will advocate for youth during CST/IEP meetings, coordinate services with external providers, and ensure compliance with federal, state, and external contract guidelines.
We seek professionals who define success collectively rather than individually. Success at Yellowstone Boys & Girls Ranch is defined by the ability to think of the team over self, demonstrating self-motivation, discipline, and forward thinking. We value the ability to maintain professional therapeutic boundaries and confidentiality while building genuine rapport with youth and families. Our environment demands adherence to strict codes of ethics, including those from the National Association of Social Workers and the American Psychological Association, ensuring that every interaction honors the dignity and health of those we serve.
