About the Role
Wharton-Smith, Inc is seeking an experienced Production Manager to support project teams in the Tampa/Southwest Florida area. In this role, you will partner with Project Managers, Superintendents, and field teams to drive workflow efficiency, planning reliability, and continuous improvement across all phases of construction. You will serve as a key liaison, utilizing the Wharton-Smith Production Management System (PMS) to coordinate pre-construction planning, trade sequencing, and daily crew assignments.
Your day-to-day impact involves analyzing production variances to identify root causes, conducting Before Action and After Action Reviews, and capturing lessons learned to refine future strategies. Beyond operational planning, you will play a vital role in mentoring production staff and leading on-site training initiatives to ensure seamless PMS implementation and foster a culture of continuous improvement and waste reduction.
