In this role, you will lead and develop production-related activities, serving as a pivotal link in our manufacturing operations. You will lead the production team in meeting and exceeding daily and weekly measurements for Quality, Cost, Safety, and Morale. Your day-to-day involves facilitating communication between shifts, coordinating with other departments, and driving continuous improvement (CI) activities to propose enhancements to management.
You will be responsible for the organization of the production cell, ensuring a clean and well-organized work environment while supporting production planning and expediting daily orders. As the first point of contact for safety concerns on the floor, you will monitor team activities to identify and mitigate risks, model safe behavior, and communicate safety updates to the team. This position requires you to act as a mentor, conducting job instruction training and standard work audits while assisting in the development of new employees.
This is an onsite position working the 2nd shift, Monday through Friday from 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM.
