About the Role
The Quality Lead is a critical guardian of product integrity within our aluminum distribution and manufacturing operations. This role ensures that every product, from raw materials sourced from mills to finished goods, meets rigorous EMS and customer specifications. You will serve as the bridge between technical precision and operational excellence, driving continuous improvement initiatives that enhance both productivity and technical integrity.
In this position, you will navigate a dynamic environment where attention to detail is paramount. Your day involves inspecting incoming inventory for defects and dimensional accuracy, conducting in-process and final inspections, and performing precise mechanical and visual tests using specialized instruments. Beyond inspection, you will collaborate closely with production, warehouse, and engineering teams to resolve quality issues, document findings in compliance with ISO standards, and lead root cause analysis for non-conforming products.
Work Environment
This role is based in a warehouse atmosphere with varying temperatures. The position requires standing for up to 8 hours per day and the ability to lift 50 pounds. Success in this role demands extreme attention to detail and the ability to maintain a clean, organized workspace while effectively multitasking and prioritizing tasks.

Key Responsibilities

Requirements

- verifiedAbility to read, write and communicate in English effectively
Nice to Have
Bachelor's degree in a related field. Familiarity with precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, protractors, and taper gauges. Ability to accurately read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
