The PIM Assistant is the guardian of your product catalog's integrity, ensuring data is accurate, complete, and ready for every digital marketplace. This role serves as the critical bridge between internal strategy and global execution, supporting the PIM Lead in maintaining a clean, optimized, and high-performing catalog.
In this position, you will be the central hub for data flow, coordinating daily with overseas product data, sourcing, and content teams to ensure seamless updates. Your work directly impacts the customer experience by preparing SKUs for publication across major channels like Amazon, Walmart, Wayfair, and Shopify. From organizing digital assets and server folders to refining SEO-focused copy, you will ensure that every product listing aligns with brand voice and marketplace guidelines.
Your day begins with validating product attributes and resolving data inconsistencies identified in weekly snapshots. You will spend significant time collaborating with overseas teams, providing clear instructions and following up on task updates to ensure data arrives formatted correctly and on schedule. A large portion of your time is dedicated to the technical side of catalog management: uploading and categorizing images, 3D files, and marketing assets in Salsify, while maintaining a logical folder structure for cross-department efficiency.
You will also act as a troubleshooter for marketplace issues, tracking syndication errors and assisting in resolving suppressions or compliance rejections. Whether you are conducting basic keyword research to optimize listing copy or updating internal SOPs, your focus remains on maintaining data accuracy and driving catalog readiness.
Candidates interested in this role should submit their application with a focus on their experience with PIM systems and data management. The selection process involves a review of qualifications followed by an interview to assess technical proficiency and cross-functional communication skills.
