This role is pivotal in bridging the gap between laboratory research and industrial-scale manufacturing. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing wet chemical processes used in advanced manufacturing and materials processing environments.
The position serves as a critical link between research and development, pilot operations, and full-scale production. Your primary mission is to translate laboratory-scale processes into safe, reliable, and efficient manufacturing systems. You will work closely with process development, facility engineering, regulatory, and operations teams to ensure strict compliance with safety, environmental, and quality requirements.
In this capacity, you will navigate complex chemical environments, handling hazardous materials such as low enriched uranium, nitric acid, and phenolic resin. The role demands a collaborative approach, requiring you to partner with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot complex issues, mentor junior engineers, and drive continuous improvement in process efficiency and product quality.
