Our mission is to help organizations meet compliance, reduce risk, and protect their people. We are not just checking boxes; we are driving a culture of safety across North America.
As an Electrical Designer I, you will create basic designs for electrical power and control systems using established engineering concepts, practices, and procedures. This role serves as a foundational support position for Senior Designers, Engineers, and Project Managers. You will receive assignments directly from project leadership and work under their technical supervision.
In this position, you will develop and revise designs, details, and drawings based on experience, existing designs, sketches, and written directions. You will utilize computer-aided design (CAD) tools and adhere to Morrow Engineering's established practices and standards. Your work will involve reviewing drawings for accuracy and completeness, preparing as-built drawings from field markups, and ensuring all designs align with CAD guidelines.
The day-to-day rhythm of this role requires balancing concurrent projects while maintaining a proactive sense of commitment. You will be expected to communicate clearly and respectfully with colleagues and clients, demonstrating strong listening skills and the ability to solve problems effectively. Beyond technical drafting, you may participate in occasional trips to project sites to gather or verify existing information and engage in departmental cross-training to broaden your expertise.

Success in this position relies on following instructions, utilizing pre-established guidelines, and maintaining professional relationships with colleagues and clients.
