About the Role

As an Electrical Engineering Manager within AEVEX Aerospace, you will lead a group of engineers sharing your specific discipline while serving as a valuable contributor to project goals. This role exists to ensure the right engineers are solving the right problems for specific programs and projects. You will be responsible for the supervision, development, and tasking of your team, acting as an expert in your field with a passion for hiring and developing engineers at all career levels.

Your day-to-day involves designing and refining product development, testing, and manufacturing processes, while overseeing project logistics and resource allocation. You will advocate for your team by securing necessary resources, including proposing capital investments, and communicate complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders, including investors and senior management. The role requires maintaining high-level expertise in electrical system design and government contracting, ensuring all processes meet quality and safety compliance guidelines.

This is an onsite role based at our Tampa, FL office, with potential travel to testing sites as needed. Please note that periods of development may require long, irregular hours around deadlines, including weekends, holidays, and work in in-field test environments.
